The world of technology is progressing at the speed of sound. Innovations that push the frontier of what is possible and what is humanly not possible are popping up each day. In fact, the rate of evolution of electronic components has seen an unprecedented rise in the past few years and this trend is only going to get faster as the days roll by. Because of this the shortcomings of our human form are slowly being transformed into our best assets.

For example, the ability to run faster was transformed with the use of cars and bikes. This is being seen more in the realm of processing power. We are mentally limited by the number of nerve cells in the brain and can only do so much. With the use of technology used in computers coming down in size and increasing in speed of operations; the ability to compute complex equations and results has increased. Research into medical fields, data compilation, connecting the world and all things in between are taking a turn towards the minute and the powerful.

The increasing trend of miniaturization of chipsets, the reduction in processing speed to sub nanosecond level offers promising solutions to many health related complications. One of the most lucrative new electronic technologies makes use of nanotechnology to produce miniscule robots that are capable of entering any porous surface and can be programmed to perform a large number of functions. The technology is being extensively researched for use in medical equipment’s and for non-invasive surgery. In the field of computers, nanotech seems to be the way ahead where microscopic computers shall have the processing power of today’s personal computers.
